Bright Blue Gorilla is Robyn Rosenkrantz and Michael Glover, musicians and filmmakers from Los Angeles. In 1990, they quit their L.A. jobs, sold everything they had (except their guitars) and bought one-way tickets to Europe. They toured the world for 30 years doing concerts and cinema-shows in Europe, Asia, and Australia. Now they're in Santa Monica, California, creating new music and making new plans to go out into the world! STAY TUNED! (Learn more about BBG on the BBG Story page.)
The Gorillas have written/produced/directed 7 feature films. Their latest three, Go with Le Flo, 36 Husbands, and  Mr. Rudolpho's Jubilee, have been released in cinemas and are now available on Amazon, Apple TV, Tubi, YouTube, Fandango, and many other streaming services. Aside from their own film creations, BBG can be seen in the Disney/Touchstone film,The Last Shot, starring Alec Baldwin, Matthew Broderick, and Toni Collette. (They play musical friends of Matthew Broderick.) And here's something funny: Michael played "The Worlds Weakest Man" in a Stanley Tools ad, which ran during the Superbowl!
Bright Blue Gorilla has released 14 CDs over the years. (Listen to BBG on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, and other music services.) Bright Blue Gorilla can also be heard in TV shows like  The Osbournes,  Dawson's Creek,  and feature films like The Last Shot and  100 Girls.  (And all the BBG movies of course!)

Best of Bright Blue Gorilla

This is the smorgasbord of BBG music... "Annie" (the love-sick Voodoo practitioner), "Feel the Movement" - from the TV show Dawson's Creek - and the (sadly) always-current "Greed". Also, from the movie 100 Girls, "Silent Music", plus the quirky "Ramond Talks to the Dead - on his Nokia" song. Mantra for the American Jungle

The mantra is: "Remain Calm... Share Your Bananas..." (Guaranteed to calm you down and make you less greedy!) We recorded this album in Utrecht, Netherlands, in the fabulous Andre Bunt studios. For this recording session BBG and Andre joined forces with producer Ken Rose - with world-class bassist Leon Giesen laying down the groove. We hope you enjoy it as much as we did creating it!
